Office extension Wängi

Our order was the complete building automation, i.e. programming via Loxone for HVAC, shading, meeting and meeting rooms including audio/video installations. The challenge lay in connecting the heating/ventilation/air conditioning to Loxone via Modbus, the audio meeting via Loxone and locally with a presentation.

In this smart office, Loxone now controls lighting, shading, heating and cooling. Thanks to the large open interfaces, it was no problem to control the heat pump including the heat exchanger and heating circuits. Specifically, the Modbus interface was used here. Thanks to the presence detectors, the lighting only comes on where someone is currently located. This means that leaving the lights on when leaving the office is a thing of the past. The automatic shading combined with the weather station depends on the position of the sun and environmental conditions. This means that natural heat is used for heating in winter, while the room is protected from overheating in summer.
