Challenge
These 7ha of pistachios needed to have remote irrigation controlled.
Solution
With the help of the MINISERVER I can collect the signal from the main well meter in order to know the amount of water that the pump is removing at all times.
When starting the irrigation cycle, a start signal is sent to the solar inverter and the sectors change automatically when the amount of water that the farmer has previously selected is delivered. Once the irrigation cycle is finished, a notification is sent to the client so they can decide if they want to activate a new cycle or stop for a few days.
The MODBUS EXTENSION gives you the values and statistics of the drive such as status, alarm, intensity, input and output voltage, motor torque, frequency, rpm, water pressure and much more.
A door contact has also been used to create an alarm along with a siren.
