Bakery with cafe

The particular challenge of this project lay in the extremely tight timeframe of just four weeks, within which both the complete planning and implementation had to be accomplished. Simultaneously, the diverse requirements of a bakery and café operation had to be reconciled: a comfortable indoor climate for guests and staff, energy-efficient heating and air conditioning control, atmospheric yet functional lighting concepts, and a reliable audio solution. This was complemented by comprehensive energy monitoring and the monitoring of lighting and system status to ensure the simplest possible operation with consistently low energy and operating costs – without disrupting ongoing operations.

In close consultation with management, a comprehensive automation concept using Loxone was developed based on several discussions. This concept is precisely tailored to the requirements of the bakery and café. Following the creation and presentation of the concept, implementation quickly commenced. Within a very short time, climate control, heating, audio, lighting control, and energy monitoring were intelligently networked and integrated into a central system.



Particular emphasis was placed on simple and intuitive operation for the on-site staff: Predefined scenes and automated processes ensure smooth daily operations without additional effort. Remote maintenance and proactive notifications, for example, in the event of defective DALI lights or unusual conditions, allow for the early detection and resolution of malfunctions. The result speaks for itself – the opening was a resounding success, and the business has since benefited from high operational reliability, comfort, and consistently low costs.
