The owners of this house wanted to benefit from the advantages of intelligent home and building automation, because a smart home provides convenient comfort with an enjoyable and stress-free user experience.
Solution
An electrician friend of the owners recommended Loxone. Intelligent lighting, smart blinds, heating and cooling, multiroom audio, access control, the sauna and the pool are now controlled with Loxone automation.
Indirect light using LED strips creates a unique atmosphere. Additional lighting moods can be added at any time using the Loxone App to create the perfect atmosphere for every occasion. The ability to change the lighting mood in the entire room with just the touch of a button on the Touch Pure switch is one of the owners' favorite functions. In addition, the elegant Touch Pure switch fits perfectly with the stylish furnishings of this architect's house. The “night light” function is also a big favourite - it illuminates the path at night with gently dimmed light. In addition, all rooms in the house got speakers installed. This makes it possible to fill every room with the same or different music. Thanks to the Presence Sensor, the music and the lighting are only activated when someone is detected. Volume, playlists and more can be easily managed via the Loxone App or the Touch Pure.
Automated shading in the house ensures protection from direct sunlight, privacy and optimised energy efficiency. It adapts to the position of the sun to prevent the rooms from overheating in summer. In winter, however, the natural heat provided passively contributes to heating up the home. The smart blinds can of course be controlled manually too via the Loxone App or the Touch Pure switch. In addition, the Touch Pure switch is equipped with an integrated temperature and humidity sensor; this data is also transmitted to the Miniserver. The system regulates the heating and air conditioning according to these measurements.
