Apartment in the Port of Prague

The project's goal was to create a modern, automated smart home system that would increase the comfort, security, and energy efficiency of the apartment. The project involves integrating key systems – lighting, heating, air conditioning, blinds, alarm systems, and multimedia devices – so that they could be controlled centrally, locally, and remotely via a mobile app.



The system's implementation was intended to ensure:

- ease of use through the automation of daily activities,

- increased security through monitoring and alerts,

- energy savings through intelligent utility management,

- the ability to easily expand with additional features in the future.



The project aimed to provide residents with an intuitive, reliable, and modern living environment, fully tailored to their needs.

The smart home system includes comprehensive automation of lighting, climate, window coverings, multimedia, and security, integrated within a single, coherent control platform.



KREON lighting fixtures operating in the DALI standard were used.



The system allows for automatic light intensity adjustment based on occupant presence and current brightness levels. This ensures optimal comfort and reduced energy consumption.



The curtains are equipped with drives that allow for automatic opening, closing, and positioning. The system can operate according to schedules or scenes.



The heating provided by JAGA underfloor heaters is controlled via digital and analog outputs. This allows for precise temperature management in individual rooms and automatic adjustment of operating parameters to the presence of household members.



The audio system, based on the MASTER-CLIENT architecture, enables centralized audio management throughout the entire apartment. Users can select audio sources, adjust the volume, and create audio zones using the app.



LG air conditioning is integrated using the AC CONTROL AIR module, enabling remote and automatic management of operating modes, temperatures, and schedules. The system also works with occupancy sensors, improving energy efficiency.



MIELE home appliances and SONY televisions have been integrated with the system, enabling device status monitoring, remote control of selected functions, and activation in various scenarios (e.g., "leaving home" or "home theater").



Exhaust fans are controlled via digital outputs, allowing for automatic control based on air quality, temperature, or activity in the rooms.



Flood sensors have been placed throughout the apartment, which immediately send notifications and can activate emergency scenarios (e.g., water shutoff), increasing occupant safety and minimizing the risk of damage.
