How do Loxone's AC solutions work?
The brain of every Loxone installation is the Miniserver. For controlling ACs, the Miniserver Go is all you need. The power supply is connected to a wall socket, the Miniserver Go is connected to a Router with a LAN cable – and you’re good to go. The AC Control Air is installed directly within the indoor units of split AC systems.
The Miniserver and the AC Control Air communicate via our radio technology Loxone Air, which is optimized for building automation – reliable, secure and fast.
Do I need additional cables or wiring?
No. The AC Control Air is mounted directly in the air conditioning system and powered by it. The Miniserver Go only requires a standard power socket and a connection to a router.
What does a Partnership with Loxone mean for me?
No contract is required for the partnership with Loxone. Being a Loxone Partner is free and brings lots of benefits, such as exclusive discount and trainings.
However, we have outlined our principles for a successful cooperation in our Partner Guidelines. By registering as a Partner, you confirm your compliance with these guidelines, which aim for a fair cooperation. Otherwise, we focus on transparency in the Partner Program and treat all Partners equally in terms of partner levels and conditions.
Where do I buy Loxone products?
Directly from our webshop. We have deliberately decided against selling though wholesalers, ensuring fair conditions for everyone. Our more than 30,000 partners worldwide value this approach.
Can I control an existing air conditioning system intelligently?
Yes, it doesn’t matter whether an air conditioning system has been running for years or is new.
Which air conditioning systems can be controlled intelligently?
Single and multi-split devices from Daikin, Fujitsu, Gree, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Sinclair, Toshiba and LG can be integrated using AC Control Air. You can use the model number to check here to see whether your air conditioning system is supported.
Do I need to be a certified electrician to install it?
No. Our portfolio has a broad variety of products which can be installed by non-electricians – especially in the realm of Smart AC. All you need is the AC Control Air – which is installed within the AC itself – and the Miniserver Go.
