One of the key challenges was that the builder had heard negative feedback about other smart home products, making them cautious about integrating automation. However, they were constructing two luxury homes side by side in a sought-after location and wanted to include some smart technology but weren’t sure where to start. After learning about the many powerful features offered by a single Loxone Miniserver, they decided to give it a try. Since this was their first smart home build, they aimed to keep the setup as simple as possible while gaining an understanding of the process.
Once construction was completed, we encountered another challenge: additional cables couldn’t be run. Loxone is the answer."

string(1357) "For this project, we used the Loxone RGBW Dimmer Tree Compact as 4-channel dimmers to control the Loxone LED Spot WW in every room, providing flexible and seamless lighting control. Presence Sensors on the ground floor, hallways and bathrooms activated the Alarm feature. With the Miniserver’s 8 onboard relays, we could easily accommodate any unique light fittings and ventilation control for the bathrooms with the recessed Presence Sensors.
The builder appreciated that they wouldn’t receive calls about creating new lighting moods. After we provided the new homeowners with basic training, they could easily customise their own lighting moods and create automation rules using the Loxone App.
Recognising Loxone’s ease of use and adaptability, the builder asked if we could add more control after it became clear that running new cables wasn’t an option for the pool pump, pool lights, and outdoor areas. We solved this by utilising Loxone’s wireless Air technology. We simply added a Tree-to-Air bridge to the nearest Loxone Touch switch and put a Loxone Multi Extension Air in the pool control box. We seamlessly added automation for the pool and even configured the pool and outdoor lights to turn on and off at dusk and dawn, enhancing the home’s convenience, energy efficiency, and overall sophistication."
