Challenge
A local funeral home wanted intelligent multiroom audio control for their newly built funeral hall with a view of the city's landmark and an adjacent funeral café. This should include a versatile sound system that combines voice and music playback and can be expanded in the future.Solution
The heart of the installation is the Loxone Miniserver Go, which is located in a server cabinet next to a Loxone Audioserver and a Denon media player. The existing speakers can be operated with a Powersoft Mezzo amplifier. This in turn was integrated into the system using the Loxone AO Extension. In order to provide sound for the mourning ceremonies outside, two Quadral Install Speaker 10 were installed in the canopy. The control of audio is made easy by pre-programmed “scenes” that can be started either via a tablet or a dedicated Touch Pure Flex switch. In the future, the system can be expanded to include an audiovisual component so that relatives who are not present in person can also be included. Thanks to the installation, the customer can gratify the wishes of the mourners without fail. This project once again showed how versatile Loxone can be to make processes smart and uncomplicated in everyday working life.
