  string(944) "The challenge was to create a luxury smart home automation system for a beachfront penthouse renovation project located at the main coastline of central Limassol. The apartment offers unobstructed sea views of the Mediterranean from all living areas as it is constructed just inches away from the coast. 



The interior design team aimed for ultimate luxury and asked for a high-tech system that could integrate the KNX touch panels of their choice while enabling the central control for custom made lighting, electric curtains and blinds, electric underfloor heating & towel rails, VRV & HRV units, socket control, water leakage detection & water supply valve control.



As this was a demanding renovation project there were some wiring and automation limitations. The flexibility and the integration abilities of the Loxone Automation System enabled us to overcome these limitations and exceed customer expectations."

  string(910) "The KNX smart switches and climate control modules were integrated using the Loxone KNX extension while all lighting and shading equipment is controlled using Loxone Relay Extension and RGBW modules.  



In some areas of the apartment additional power cables for the automation of blinds and curtains couldn’t be pulled and this was solved with the local installation of Nano IO Air modules. 



A special requirement by the interior design team was to install a smart touch switch on a glass intermediate wall without the installation of any visible wirings. This demand was satisfied using the Loxone Touch Pure Air.



All automations can be controlled through custom engraved KNX glass touch keypads with integrated climate control functions, an 11-inch central control touch screen featuring the Loxone interface and the Loxone Miniserver mobile application.
