How does the control of air conditioning systems work with Loxone?
The AC Control Air is installed directly in the indoor units of the air conditioners. No additional wiring is required. This allows the air conditioner to be controlled by the Miniserver. In many cases, a Miniserver Go is sufficient to control the air conditioner.
Do I need additional cabling?
No. The AC Control Air is installed directly into the air conditioning system and is powered by it.
Can I intelligently control an existing air conditioning system?
Yes, it doesn’t matter whether an air conditioner has been in operation for years or is brand new. Loxone can automate it with the AC Control Air.
Which air conditioning systems can be controlled intelligently?
Single and multi-split units from Daikin, Fujitsu, Gree, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Sinclair, Toshiba, and LG can be integrated with the AC Control Air. Using the model number, you can check here if your air conditioner is supported.
Which spot market electricity providers are supported?
Thanks to the direct connection to European and national electricity exchanges, almost all providers are supported.
Which Miniserver is required?
The air conditioning system can be controlled with a Miniserver including the Air Base Extension, a Miniserver Compact, or a Miniserver Go. In many cases, the Miniserver Go is completely sufficient and therefore represents a cost-effective alternative.
