With the Caller Service, it's possible to configure the Miniserver to call you whenever a value changes. For example, if the temperature of a sun room rises too high
Once you have purchased your Loxone Caller Service you need to register the license key. Find out how to do this here!
The Caller could be used, for example, for temperature monitoring. If temperature rises past a predefined limit, then you'll get a phone call and email.
If you activate the 'Allow Response' option in the Caller, then ringing back and pressing a number (0-9) sends that number to a virtual input on the Caller. You must call back within 2 minutes of being called.
If you press 3 whilst being called by the Caller, an impulse is sent to the 'CVI3 Input'.
You could use this function, for example, to reset a burglar alarm if it goes off.
- Here you can enter the messages that you want to be called with. When you are called up, a computerised voice will read the message out.
- Please take care with the format of the telephone number e.g. 004372877070
For the Caller Service to function, it is vital that the DNS Server is registered. In a dynamic network, this is normally assigned automatically.
You can assign the DNS Server manually using the admin interface.
