Heating Period – disable heating in Summer

Hi all, in the UK it’s common to disable the heating when we think we are out of the Winter period. In Loxone there are Operating Modes for ‘Heating Period’ and ‘Cooling Period’, I had assumed that this would disable the heating completly and override all other settings. This doesn’t seem to be the case though as my heating is still coming on even though it is outside the heating period set.

I guess I have 2 questions, have I misunderstod the point of the ‘Heating Period’, if so what is the point of it? Do I need to add config to make use of the Operating Mode, if so can someone give me an example? How does this interact with the Intelligent Heating and Climate Controller blocks?

A mi me ha sucedido lo mismo, una vez fuera del período de calefacción seguía activa y finalmente lo he solucionado con un interruptor general par atacar al stop de cada bloque de función de cada aula del colegio
