Forgot Password Miniserver v10

I have forgotten my password to my miniserver running v10. If I remove the SD card, can I update the software version to v12 and use the password reset option? Will I be able to keep all my settings and saved scenes etc if I do this?

Hi Adam

I’m afraid that if you are on V10 the only way with the SD card to update to V12 would be to format the card in Config, this would by necessity also wipe the config file on it to factory default.

If you have a recent backup of the config you could then always save this back into the Miniserver.
