With Loxone Tree there are many wiring topologies that can be used.
The cable required is Cat7 Cable.
A Maximum of 50 devices can be connected on each tree branch.
The maximum length of cable is 500m per branch.
The LED states of each Tree device can be used for diagnostics:
- Orange blinking: device is connected to Tree extension but has not yet been taught in to extension.
- Red flashing: no connection to the Miniserver (check wiring of this Tree branch)
Using the 'Diagnose' button we can check both branches of the Tree extension. This can give us help identify wiring problems and help us quickly solve problems.
The diagnostics window will list all connected devices.
The state of each device is signified by the colour the devices is highlighted in the list.
