Award-winning Smart Home

Défi

The client wanted to build a fully automated, forever home that would operate as efficiently as possible and that could integrate climate, ventilation, shading, controlled access, lighting, energy management, photovoltaics with batteries, and smart appliances, and then outdoor park lighting, associated irrigation, and pool/lounge area.

Specifically to be able to manage:

No. 46 lighting points with more than 120 lighting points

No. 2 windows with vasistas opening/closing

No. 27 roller shutters with opening/closing

No. 34 floor heating/cooling circuits

No. 11 temperature/humidity probes including 2 with CO2

no. 1 weather station

No. 4 entry doors with motorized electric lock/cylinder managed via NFC keypad

Monitor the 20 kWp photovoltaic system with 30 kWh of batteries and monitor both the general energy drawn and input of the house.

Solution

In order for our client to be able to integrate and manage everything directly from the Loxone platform, we installed 1 miniserver with Power Supply & Backup to separate and monitor the various bus “risers” in the house and configured the system to

enable the end customer to be able to:

Bidirectionally monitor home energy consumption as a 20 Kwp photovoltaic system with 30 Kwh of batteries is installed

Manage each individual lighting as well as ground floor/first floor light groups and general on/off

Manage each individual shutter as well as ground floor/first floor shutter groups and general on/off

Heating/cooling floor thermoregulation management with 11 zones and managing 34 tree thermal actuators installed in 4 manifolds

Management of 2 AHUs (t.f. and 1stp.) via humidity and CO2 probes

Management of floor system and AHU recirculation pump

Automatic shutter closure in case of rain detected by weather station

Opening 4 security doors, equipped with motorized cylinders, via 4 external NFC keypads

Integration of MIELE appliances

HUAWEI inverter integration

Various notifications including the tripping of 6 general protection switches

In addition, we have already set up the system for the management of outdoor irrigation of about 1,500 square meters of parkland, outdoor pool/relaxation area, outdoor lighting and gate via video intercom that will be implemented soon.

The private residence we have built has, in addition, been featured in a specialized magazine in the residential sector.
