Sternhöhe Campus
- Країна DE, Stuttgart
- Площа 110.000 m2 m²

Мета проєкту
With approximately 110,000 m² of office and usable space spread across 12 buildings and 62 floors, the Sternhöhe Campus in Stuttgart is one of the largest and most challenging projects of its kind. The goal was to create a modern and innovative campus that offers attractive work environments while also being easy to manage efficiently.
The biggest challenge was integrating the wide variety of different building systems and technologies into a single centralized platform. Heating, cooling, ventilation, shading, security, window contacts, alarm systems, and energy management were not only to communicate with one another but also to be centrally monitored and controlled. At the same time, the system had to be flexible enough to adapt to changing tenant requirements, future expansion phases, and individual special requests.
Implementing the system while the facility remained in operation was particularly challenging. Parts of the campus were already in use, while other areas were still being expanded or prepared for future tenants. This required solutions that could be adapted to new requirements at any time without disrupting the facility’s operations.

LOXONE has created a central platform that intelligently connects all building functions. Lighting, shading, indoor climate, security, and energy management work together within a single system and can be managed across multiple locations.
Special emphasis was placed on interface management. Existing and new systems were seamlessly integrated, enabling centralized monitoring and control of the entire campus.
This provides facility management with transparency regarding energy consumption, peak loads, and optimization potential at all times. Relevant data can be analyzed and measures initiated even from the company’s headquarters in Hamburg.

Thanks to LOXONE’s high flexibility, both centralized and decentralized components could be integrated, and even last-minute requirements or special requests could be efficiently implemented. The solution makes it possible to customize rental spaces to the needs of future users and to implement expansions without time-consuming rewiring.
In addition to traditional functions for heating, ventilation, cooling, and shading, the system offers the ability to seamlessly integrate additional applications such as audio, access control, intrusion detection, or extra comfort features. The result is a future-proof building automation concept that enables the Sternhöhe Campus to be operated flexibly, efficiently, and sustainably.

The greatest benefit for us is that we can monitor, control, and specifically optimize our entire energy management system.
