INSTALLATION & SHORT SPECIFICATION
Installation
- Mount Miniserver on DIN rail
- After installation finished connect 24V DC, activate only after finishing the total installation.
- Connect inputs and outputs
- Connect *LAN-connection with network
- Connect *KNX®-EIB
- Combine *Loxone Bus with the first Extension
- Terminate *Loxone Bus with the last Extension with a 120 Ohm resistor.
- Check: Micro SD Card inserted
- Activate Power supply
- Check: Left LED flashes after about 7 seconds green= OK

NETWORK CONFIGURATION
| Network with DHCP server By first time operation connect network adaptor with our network and attach them to power supply. The Miniserver boots from the inserted MicroSD media, on this is our Firmware and all user data. After commissioning the Miniserver you see in the device in your Windows Explorer network environment.  | To see Miniserver in your network environment, the Windows function "automatically search network" has to be activated. | |
 | The Miniserver automatically configures a hostname beginning with lxl and the last 4 digits of its serial number. By double- click, in our example lxl0004, you can open your browser, access when default are username "admin" and password "admin". You don´t need the browser for commissioning. The Miniserver gets from your DHCP Server after activation an IP address. The time is set automatically when an Internet connection. |
 | Networks without DHCP- Server To connect directly with your Miniserver, you need a crossover Ethernet cable or a Switch/Hub. The extradition IP address of your Miniserver is 192.168.1.77.  | Setting a manual IP address If the assignment of an IP address happens without a DHCP server or router, you must manually set an IP address that is rare in the address range as the mini-server. By default, this is the area 192.168.1.x. | |

| Changing the IP address of your Miniserver If you want to set another IP address for your Miniserver, you can do this in our configuration software. Change in the configuration software to the maintenance tab and click Configure Device. |
 | Assign a static IP- Address First, enter the MAC address (serial number) of your Miniserver. To manually set an IP address, remove the tick by "Automatically set address". Enter the desired IP address and click Send. Your Miniserver is now assigned to the new IP address. |
