How to activate your Loxone Cloud Services!

After purchasing your Cloud Service through the Webshop you will receive an invoice with the license key. To activate the Cloud Service you then have to register the license for the Miniserver on which you want to use it. Tip: Have the serial number of your Miniserver to hand as you will need it to activate the Cloud Service.

Register your Miniserver

In order to activate the Cloud Service you first have to register your Miniserver. If you haven't already done so, then please go to http://www.loxone.com/reg and enter your Miniserver's serial number to register it.

Add the Cloud Service

After you have registered your Miniserver it will be shown in the list of registered devices and the option "Add Cloud Service" will appear. Click on "Add Cloud Service" and enter the license key of the service that you have purchased. Confirm your entry by clicking the "Add" button.

Your license key will be checked and the service activated. Please allow up to one working day for this.

Miniserver-DNS-Settings

You have successfully registered your Miniserver and activated the Cloud Service, but make calls or receive weather data

Please check that the network settings (in particular the DNS settings) of the Miniserver are correct. You can do this on the "Settings" page of the admin interface of your Miniserver "http://adresse-miniserver/admin". On this page please ensure that the fields "DNS1 Address" and "DNS2  Address" contain the IP address of a valid DNS server. The DNS address often is the IP address of your router, but you can use the DNS address of your provider or the address of a public DNS server as well.

info Tip: Google offers a free and public DNS-Service, which you can use instead of your you ISPs service. To make use of Google's DNS service enter "8.8.8.8" und "8.8.4.4" in the DNS1 and DNS2 address boxes.
