COMPONENTS: WHAT YOU NEED
For the realization of indiviual room control using Loxone you need temperature sensors and thermal actuators.
We recommend mounting temperature sensors in each room of the house to allow individual room control. The thermal actuators are connected to the heating circuit distributor or directly to a radiator.
Connection of temperature sensors and actuators
The temperature sensors are connected to the analog inputs of the Miniserver or Extension. You need temperature sensors which provide a 0-10V signal.
Thermal actuators can be digital or analog (0-10V) actuators. Depending on the design you connect them to the digital or analog outputs.
In our configuration software, you can control each individual room with a 2-point controller and digital thermal actuators.
The analog actuators allow for slightly softer temperature regulation. We are already working on a separate functional block for our software, where analog actuators are supported too.
RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE WEBSHOP
In the Loxone Webshop you will find cheap and high quality temperatur sensors and thermal actuators.
Using the actuators you can choose betweeen an analog 0-10V 24V valve and a digital 230V valve. Both versions achieve very good results. The analog actuator is more accurate and gentle, but slightly more expensive than the digital actuator. More about the products in our webshop:
