Loxone Explained: Lighting Series

02/18/2022 in Know How
Gone are the days of switching on and off traditional lights. Modern LED lighting technology is taking an enormous leap in homes and buildings globally. To show you how it works, we’re introducing our Loxone Explained Video series on smart lighting technology.

Part 1 – Products & Technology

To start this lighting series off, let’s explore which light fixtures and technologies will easily upgrade lifestyles with intelligent functionality. We’ll discuss mistakes to avoid, details to pay attention to and more tips.

Part 2 – Interactive Lighting Design

Making sure you’ve chosen the right combination of lights is only half the battle. A professional lighting installation should also include a lighting design that has been thought through to the end and really takes into account how the customer is going to interact with the lighting. And this is exactly what this video will cover.

Part 3 – Easy configuration

Now it’s time to configure the lights to make them smart. This is where functionality beyond on/off comes in.

In the third part of our video series, we’ll explain how to program your lighting controls in Loxone Config. For example, set the dimming behavior or customize lighting scenes for different occasions. It’s possible to completely automate the entire lighting system.
