    string(665) "71 climate-neutral and automated flats were built in Lier through the successful collaboration between O3SHIFT, heating system provider SEDS and Loxone Partner iSmart. During the development of these apartment blocks, the focus was not only on the convenient comfort of the future residents, but also on a sustainable living concept. For this reason, SEDS was chosen to ensure the optimised room temperature and hot water supply. In addition, O3SHIFT aimed to improve the control of the operating system as well as the temperatures in the flats through Loxone intelligent control. The integration of the heating system into the Loxone system was a challenging task."

    string(915) "Each flat is equipped with a specially adapted SEDS unit that's connected to a modern heat pump. The residents set the desired climate settings in the Loxone App and the SEDS unit adapts the corresponding setpoints. Through the Loxone Room Comfort Sensor, the current temperature of the flats is continuously recorded, making additional thermostats unnecessary. This data is then sent to the SEDS unit via the Loxone Miniserver, and these units react accordingly.



In addition to controlling heating, air conditioning and ventilation, Loxone intelligent control also takes care of the lighting and shading in the flats. The Presence Sensors form the basis of important functions such as lighting including brightness control. The Weather Station detects short-term events such as wind, rain, storm or change in brightness around the premises and tells the Miniserver to adjust the shading accordingly."
