Challenge
Victron handles all energy management itself. Depending on demand, production, weather conditions, battery charge level, and season, certain operating states and charging strategies are desirable to achieve optimal performance.
The influencing factors include:
Season, time of day, production, consumption, battery charge level, electricity prices, grid costs, membership in an energy community, etc.

Solution
There are various operating states that can be combined depending on requirements and objectives.
Normal operation: Victron handles all management. LOXONE sets a constant grid consumption/feed-in rate, depending on the season. In winter, there is a surplus of grid power; in summer, there is a surplus of feed-in.
Storage not discharged: Grid consumption equals self-consumption.
Storage not charged: Production surplus is fed into the grid.
Charge storage to a defined state of charge by a specific time.
Draw defined grid power.
Feed defined grid power.

LOXONE offers clear configuration options and excellent calculation modules. Weather data can be easily integrated using the weather service, and tariff data can be easily integrated using the spot price optimizer. Actual events can be easily tracked with the energy monitor.
