What has been implemented?
General
The Miniserver, the brain of the Loxone system, recognises the location of the Fizz student dormitory and therefore is aware of the position of the sun, indoor and outdoor temperature, wind speed and much more. Consequently, the shading system knows automatically and by itself what it has to do and adjusts itself to the correct setting independently.
In the morning, it serves as a soft light alarm clock to gently wake you up and let the warming rays of the sun into the house. At midday, it provides cool temperatures in the rooms and at the same time permits a view to the outside. After sunset, the intelligent shading with 370 Venetian blinds provides the perfect privacy screen and a relaxing evening on the sofa.

What has been implemented?

Equipped with storm protection, the shading reacts automatically to changes in the weather. For example, if a storm comes up, sensitive shading elements automatically move into the safety position. This process is completely autonomous, regardless of whether someone is present in the flat or not. The weather station including the weather service measures the brightness, among other things, which is why the shading independently changes its position, depending on the position of the sun.
The temperature is also monitored continuously and, thanks to the weather station, the exact data is transmitted to the miniserver. In summer, the shading protects the residents from overheating the rooms, in winter it insulates the building and keeps the heat inside.
In THE FIZZ student dormitory, the shading elements also provide security at dusk. At sunset, the blinds close fully automatically, shielding the residents from prying eyes.
Other built-in functions of the shading are frost protection and also the customised measurement of exposure to fine dust particles. Rain can also be detected most reliably with the Loxone weather station. In the atrium of the student residence, the shading can also be raised and lowered via push buttons.
The managers chose Loxone according to our advice, as we have never had any problems with Loxone products.There is always a contact person for any questions that may arise and overall we would say that everything is easier to implement with Loxone compared to other systems.
