Challenge
Control of a new office building. 15 offices, 3 meeting rooms, kitchens, and restrooms. The goal was to create a user-friendly way to control the room climate. It was necessary to integrate heating, air conditioning, ventilation with heat recovery, and shading into one system. In addition, the energy from the photovoltaic panels installed on the building’s roof needed to be used efficiently.
For the building manager, it was important to have an overview of the operation of each room and the related energy consumption of each technology.

Solution
We managed to solve this complex task by interconnecting the technologies via ModBus interfaces and integrating them into Loxone.
From the user’s perspective, control is provided via the Touch Pure Flex, which allows easy operation of lighting, shading, and temperature. If needed, users can turn off the air conditioning fan for a period they set themselves.
