The challenge was to develop a comprehensive networking solution for our facility that included all important areas. This included the main cathedral, the sauna, the tiny house, the hayloft, the small cathedral and the technical room. Each of these areas has different energy needs and usage patterns that needed to be taken into account.





Overcoming this challenge required thorough planning and coordination. We had to ensure that all areas could be integrated into the energy management system to optimize energy flow, monitor consumption and ensure system reliability.

The solution to all these complex challenges was achieved through the implementation of Loxone. Thanks to Loxone technology, we were able to achieve seamless integration of all systems, from the inverters to the storage, wallboxes and the DC emergency power generator.





The connection to the inverters and storage units was carried out easily via a Modbus interface. This allowed us to obtain real-time data about the energy production and consumption status and control the system accordingly.





The integration of the DC emergency generator was particularly important. If the storage reaches a critical charge level of less than 30% (in the event of a power failure), the emergency generator will start automatically. It charges the memory to 80% of its capacity before turning off again. This intelligent automation ensures a continuous supply of energy and allows guests to enjoy a comfortable stay even in the event of a power outage.





By integrating heating and lighting scenarios into the Loxone system, we can not only optimize energy consumption, but also increase the comfort and well-being of residents. The intelligent control allows us to use energy efficiently while creating a comfortable stay.
