Quick Actions: Faster Access For iPhones

In addition to the recently introduced Room Mode and support for NFC and QR, the new Quick Actions offer a further step towards simplifying the control of your Loxone Smart Home. With Quick Actions, owners of an iPhone 6S can open before quickly perform important functions in the Smart Home or control an app position without the app.

In addition to the recently introduced Room Mode and support for NFC and QR, the new Quick Actions offer a further step towards simplifying the control of your Loxone Smart Home. With Quick Actions, owners of an iPhone 6S can perform a single quick press on the Loxone Smart Home App icon and bring up a list of shortcuts to most used features.

As with NFC and QR, setting up Quick Actions in the Loxone App is straightforward and takes just a few minutes.

Fire & Flood Alarm System

Loxone-Smart-Home-AppAlso included in the update for Loxone Config and the Loxone App is an expansion to the central alarm system for fire and flood warning. The rapid and reliable detection of fire and/or water ensures greater safety for residents and protects against costly damage.

When an alarm occurs, you’ll be instantly alerted via push notification or phone call, giving you the chance to intervene before it’s too late. Thanks to the Miniserver you can also flash the lights throughout the house and play an alarm sound via the Music Server to warn residents of the danger.

Easy Configuration of the Loxone Standard with the Loxone Touch

The Loxone Standard is our concept for simple Smart Home control. The Touch switch has only 5 buttons, which can be configured however you like, however, to make things easier, we have introduced a new ‘T5’ function for the Loxone Touch Air and Loxone Touch for Nano. This allows you to configure your switches according to the Loxone standard even more easily.  T5 is available for the following function blocks: Automatic Blinds, Lighting Controller and Music Server Zone.

To use T5, you simply connect the T5 input from the switch to the T5 input on the function block and it will set up the switch according to the Loxone standard:

  • Lighting: The large middle button on the switch can be used to scroll through lighting scenes with a single tap, whilst a double tap turns off all lights for that room.
  • Automatic Blinds: The two left-hand corner buttons of the Loxone Touch trigger the blinds. The blinds will drive up and down with one tap. Should you wish to halt the blinds halfway, a simple tap once more will pause the driver.
  • Music Server Zone: The right-hand corners of the switch are used for music. A double click on the top right-hand button skips to your next room favourites, whilst single taps on the top and button control the audio volume up and down respectively.

New: Service Mode For Automatic Blinds

The new automatic blind integration is used for direct integration and control of intelligent blind motors. Currently supported is the ‘SolidLine Air’, which we developed with Geiger. Besides the existing functions of automatic blinds, the function block has an additional Service Mode, which determines the direction of the motor and the end positions can be taught and calibrated.

Increased Stability & Bug Fixes

These two updates include more than 100 other improvements and bug fixes. Among other things, the connection of our Loxone Apps has been further optimised and the toilet fan control has been improved.

You can find a list of all changes and updates in the Changelog.
