Part 1  Part 2 Project Days

Loxone Expert Training

We offer the Loxone Expert Training Parts 1 and 2, as well as the Loxone Project Days on consecutive days in the same location. Book all 3 courses and within a few days you'll be a Loxone Home Automation expert.

Part 2 Project Days

Part 1

In half a day we will teach you the fundamentals and basic principles of home automation with Loxone. You will receive a basic introduction to our configuration software and will learn how to plan and install projects using Loxone.

Part 1 serves as a foundation on which Part 2 and the Project Days build.

  • Duration4 hours.
  • ParticipantsA minimum of five participants is required. In the event of a cancellation you will be informed in advance.
  • Maximum number of participants: 18.
  • Cost: £69.00 (incl. VAT) per person.
  • ProvisionsRefreshments during the event followed by dinner.
  • Laptop: The basic training is an interactive presentation. A laptop is not required.
  • Replacements: If you wish to substitute a participant, please inform us prior to the date of training as we have some small prerequisites for attendance. Unconfirmed replacements may otherwise be rejected. Thanks for understanding.
  • This is not a promotional event. The course is conducted by our Partner Consulting team.

 

Part 1 Project Days

Part 2

Day 1

During this day you will really expand your knowledge and come to know the Loxone system intimately. You will learn advanced features of the configuration software (sequencing, sensor polling, custom scripts...) and we will teach you how to use the diagnostic tools.

Focus: Advanced system settings, file structures, advanced configuration, and configuration for common situations such as lighting, shading, heating, multimedia and smart automation.

 

Day 2

In the course of the day you will learn how to handle Loxone extensions in the best way - from initial planning, to integration and configuration of the sensors and actuators you connect.

For this training, we provide an a full range of our extensions for hands-on examples. Learn about IButton, temperature, humidity, and brightness sensors, wind and rain sensors, motion detectors, proportional heating actuators, DMX applications such as RGB LED strips, push-buttons, and much more.

During the course, the demo case is used to work directly with a Loxone Miniserver.  You will learn how to configure various sensors/actuators, and have the chance to test your program live.

  • Prerequisites: Completion of Part 1, 
  • Cost: £330 (incl. VAT) per person
  • Provisions: Coffee breaks, lunch
  • Laptop: This course is a hands-on workshop conducted by two Loxone trainers. A laptop is essential, please bring one with a current Windows operating system (minimum requirement Windows XP, Windows 7/8). We also recommend bringing a mouse and reasonable screen size.
  • Replacements: If you wish to substitute a participant, please inform us prior to the date of training as we have some small prerequisites for attendance. Unconfirmed replacements may otherwise be rejected. Thanks for understanding.

Part 1 Part 2

Loxone Project days

During the Project Days you will learn how best to use your existing Loxone Config programming knowledge in practice. With our trainers there to guide you, you'll carry out a complete example project from planning to final configuration with Loxone Config.

  • 2-Day Project Workshop  After the Loxone Expert Training Days
  • Complete Project Planning and Configuration starting from a blank building plan
  • Support from two Loxone Trainers
  • Get hands-on wiring up an enclosure
  • Prerequisites: Completion of Loxone Expert Training Parts 1 + 2
  • Laptop Essential: please bring a laptop with a current Windows operating system (minimum requiremet Windows XP, Windows 7/8). We also recommend bringing a mouse and reasonable screen size
  • Cost: £270 (incl. VAT) per person
  • Provided: We will provide you with lunch, drinks and snacks and a Demo Case on loan.
  • Replacements: If you wish to substitute a participant, please inform us prior to the date of training as we have some small prerequisites for attendance. Unconfirmed replacements may otherwise be rejected. Thanks for understanding.

 

At the end of both Project Days, we will give you a perfect example configuration and help you to optimise your own configuration.
