Auto Configuration

Documentation for Auto Configuration

Loxone Musterkoffer

Using Auto Confingure will automatically create pages in your Config made up of the standard features (ie. for lighting, blinds, individual room control). it will also add a central page for the security and fire alarms.

To use this feature, you must have assigned each device in the Periphery to a Room and Category in Properties window.

Creating an auto configuration

You can easily create a Loxone Standard configuration using the Auto Configure button.

It is vital that you have correctly assigned a Room and Category to each of the devices in the Periphery.

  • Valve Actuators = Heating
  • Temperature Sensor = Heating
  • Blinds = Shading
  • Lighting = Lighting

With Loxone Tree and Air device, the category is automatically set when the device is learnt in.

Once the devices have been learnt it and assigned a Room and Category, click the Auto Configure button.

Select the Rooms that you want to include in the auto configuration by checking them in the dialogue that pops up. Then click 'Configure'.

A page has now been created in the Config for each of the rooms. Each room will include the function blocks for all of the main features available in that room with the available Periphery devices.
All clearly labelled devices are automatically linked to the correlating function blocks.
As a precaution, the output relays of the blinds are not automatically connected. (The Loxone Tubular Motor SOLIDline Air by Geiger will be automatically connected.)

The central block evaluates if the solar irradiation is greater than 1 and if the Intelligent Room controllers indicates a shading demand by Qs being On and relays this information to the Automatic Blinds. Depending on the direction of the sun the blind controller will then take appropriate action and shade the room.

Download Statistics

You can retrieve the values recorded by the various sensors in the home using Loxone Config.

To do this, select the Miniserver in the Periphery and then click 'Download Statistics'..

In the dialogue box, you can select the date range in the upper left corner. It automatically selects the date range from the 1st of each month. This can be changed by clicking on the drop down arrow to open the calendar and select the date range from there.

Then simply click 'Download'.

The data range is then shown for all devices. Clicking on a specific device will display the graph just for that device.

Clicking the 'Export' button will create a document in CSV format (ie. Excel) that you can download. If you have selected only specific devices then it will create a page for each object.

Ticking the "Ignore analogue 0 values" checkbox will hide the 0 values, thereby only indicate higher values.

Statistics cannot be recorded if the memory card is full.
