Hi vampiris,
We are offering the first English Loxone training courses in the UK. If this is an option for you, then you can find out more about these here:
http://www.loxone.com/Pages/en/Mein-Konto/Partnerprogramm/Schulung.aspxHere also a few basics tips for your wiring:
1. Wire (almost) everything as a star back to the Miniserver, just like you wire a PC network to a central switch.
2. The only exception to rule 1 are your ring mains, unless you want to switch every socket individually
3. For consumers/outputs (i.e. light fittings, 5A sockets, central heating pumps, thermal actuators, etc.) use standard twin and earth with an appropriate rating. For blinds and curtains you need 3 core and earth to drive the motors in both directions.
4. For sensors/inputs you can generally use Cat5 cable. This means to the switch locations, temperature sensor locations, PIRs etc. you just run a Cat5 cable. There is only very little current flowing here so you do not need as much copper and can save some money.
I hope this answers a few more of your questions.
Best Regards,
Philipp
