Simple set up with electronic keys
|
 |
All you need to gain entry is a small electronic key which fits neatly on any keyring.
You can buy the electronic keys from around £5. With them you can open doors, garages, cupboards etc. simply by placing your electronic key on the key reader.
|
Do more than just unlock doors
|
 |
There's no limit to your imagination - you can fully customise your access system the way you want it.
Example - On entering your house:
-
As you enter in the evening, the hall light comes on automatically as the door unlocks
-
The music in the living room turns on
-
The heating's target temperature is raised by 2°C
-
The socket for the PC is activated
|
Seamlessly integrated with Loxone Config
|
 |
Naturally, our access control system integrates perfectly with our configuration software.
You can therefore configure your access control system in minutes and adjust any functions yourself - such as setting lights to come on as you enter.
|
Access control with integrated logging and tracking
|
 |
Every time someone enters, it's automatically recorded by the tracker feature
The tracker means that you can monitor who's coming and going in your house - whether it's through your web browser, or while you're on the move with your iPhone or Android smartphone.

What you'll need

As well as a Miniserver, you'll need the following components to set up your own access control system:
-
Loxone 1-Wire Extension
This sits between the electronic key reader and the Miniserver.
-
Electronic Key Reader
The reader unit is simply connected to the 1-Wire extension and plastered in the wall (or mounted on a panel or in housing).
-
Electronic Key
The electronic key (also called an iButton) sends a signal to your Miniserver when placed in the key reader. It fits perfectly on any keyring!
-
Electronic Door Opener / Lock
Finally you'll need to install an electronic lock or door opener which is operated by the Miniserver's relay output or via a wireless actuator.
